AlKawther Industries Company (KIC) has announced the appointment of Eng. Mahmoud bin Yahya Fallatah as its Managing Director, effective 26 February 2026, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the Company’s executive leadership and advancing its long-term strategic vision for growth and expansion in the water treatment and water solutions sector.

Eng. Mahmoud Fallatah is widely recognized as one of Saudi Arabia’s most distinguished executives in the water and energy industries. With more than three decades of leadership experience, he has played a pivotal role in the privatization of the Kingdom’s water and wastewater sector, the establishment of the National Water Company (NWC), and the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects. His contributions have also been instrumental in driving privatization initiatives and leading the transformation from public-sector operations to private-sector management.

Throughout his distinguished career, Eng. Mahmoud has held several prominent executive positions, most notably serving as the former Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Nesma Water & Energy. He has also chaired the boards of several companies and served as a board member of numerous organizations across the water and infrastructure sectors.
