Disinfecting Drinking water for Jeddah, Mekkah & Al Taif using chlorine Dioxide

Scope of work:

• AlKawther will install 9 chlorine dioxide generation systems in different places in Jeddah, Mekkah & Taif.
• Alkawther to operate this plant for five years.

Key challenges:

• Supplying chemicals to all sites.
• Install all required plants within 3 months.
• Differences in water quality and planned plant design which required a different treatment strategy and a larger number of samples to be tested daily
